Following a story that Taj Gibson has been told he will start at power forward for the Chicago Bulls next season, Gibson denied the report and said he has not been informed such.

"Nobody told me anything, this is why I don't talk to media," Gibson posted on his official Twitter page.

Gibson reportedly was told by the Bulls "to get my body and mind right to be a starter," with signs pointing to the potential amnesty of Carlos Boozer.

“I mean this will be exciting,’’ Gibson said, according to the story. “This is what I’ve always thought about. When I started [those six games] for Boozer when he was hurt during the season, I just know how excited I was, how good it felt to come to the arena.’’
