The Houston Rockets used K.J. McDaniels to commit five immediate intentional fouls upon Andre Drummond to begin the second half as they trailed the Detroit Pistons. McDaniels committed five fouls in the first 10 seconds of the quarter.

The Rockets wanted to immediately put the Pistons in the penalty to force Drummond to shoot free throws.

"Anything for my teammates. I know they'd do anything for me," said McDaniels.

The Rockets took the lead in less than three minutes by fouling Drummond on every possession.

The Pistons were forced to remove Drummond from the game.

While Drummond finished the game 13-for-36 from the line, the Pistons won the game 123-114.
