Nicolas Batum is expected to meet with the Dallas Mavericks at the start of free agency.
Dallas is considering their options to replace Chandler Parsons at small forward.
Batum previously played on the wing with Wesley Matthews as members of the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Hornets are still widely considered frontrunners to keep Batum, especially if the Charlotte Hornets are willing to offer him a fifth year on his contract.
