James Borrego is interviewing with the Charlotte Hornets for their head coaching vacancy.
Borrego also has interviewed for the openings with the New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns.
Borrego was previously an interim head coach with the Orlando Magic.
Borrego was an assistant coach with the San Antonio Spurs from 2003 until 2010 before following Monty Williams to the New Orleans Pelicans through 2012. Borrego was then hired by the Magic under Jacque Vaughn before returning to the Spurs in 2015.
