The Minnesota Timberwolves have parted ways with three staffers.

Most notably, the Wolves parted ways with Vince Legarza, who worked closely with Karl-Anthony Towns.

Tom Thibodeau also will not retain shooting coach Peter Patton and assistant video coordinator Wes Bohn.

Legarza joined the Timberwolves from Atlanta before the 2015-16 season, Towns’ rookie year. The son of Mike Legarza, a renowned coach in California, Vince joined the organization as a video coordinator and player development assistant.

Towns was unaware of Thibodeau’s decision to not retain Legarza, league sources said.

Towns thanked Legarza during his Rookie of the Year speech in 2016.
