Nick Nurse remains the favorite to become the next head coach of the Toronto Raptors, according to sources.
The Raptors are also considering Ettore Messina, Ime Udoka and Sarunas Jasikevicius.
Nurse was among the first interviews after Dwane Casey was fired in early May. Nurse joined Casey’s Raptors staff in 2013 and was tasked with overseeing the team’s offense.
Mike Budenholzer was also a strong candidate but has since taken the job with the Milwaukee Bucks.
It is believed that Rex Kalamian and Jerry Stackhouse have lost traction during the evaluation process.
