The Miami Heat have extended the qualifying offer to Derrick Jones Jr.

Jones will be a restricted free agent after playing this past season under a two-way contract. The qualifying offers for free agents coming off two-way contracts are minimal, with the figure at $77,000 for Jones.

Jones averaged 3.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 15.2 minutes over 14 games this season for the Heat.
