LeBron James says he will resist any potential efforts from the Los Angeles Lakers to have him sit with their playoff chances fading.

"That would take a lot of convincing from Luke [Walton] on up," James told ESPN. "Unless I'm hurt, I'm not sitting games."

James was likely referring to Magic Johnson, Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss.

The Lakers have yet to approach James about sitting out to preserve his body.

"That conversation hasn't occurred, but I'm sure it can happen soon," James told ESPN.
