Rob Pelinka will meet with Monty Williams between game 2 and 3 of the Philadelphia 76ers playoff series as he seeks to find a replacement for Luke Walton.
The Lakers also received permission to interview Heat assistant Juwan Howard, which they will also do this week. Howard is a candidate for the Cavs head coach position.
Williams and Tyronn Lue remain front-runners to be the next head coach of the Lakers.
