The governor of New Jersey signed a bill allowing Atlantic City's Golden Nugget casino to take bets on NBA games not involving the Houston Rockets.
The Golden Nugget is owned by Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta.
Sports betting in New Jersey was legalized last year.
More than $3.7 billion of sports bets have been made in New Jersey since.
