The NBA and NBPA have discussed a model of all 30 teams returning to reach a target goal of 72 regularseason games apiece.

The Atlanta Hawks are the league's closet team to that goal with 67 games played this season. The Hawks have the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference, but their franchise and players are hopeful of returning to play additional games.

"Our guys are excited about the opportunity to get back to it," Hawks President of Basketball Operations and GM Travis Schlenk told ESPN. "It has importance for us. We're a young team, and because of injuries and some other things this season, we didn't get to see them all together.

"Clint [Capela] says he's feeling better, and there's a possibility that we can get him back on the court. Practicing and playing five games would be valuable to us."

Not one owner nor GM is explicitly telling anyone they don't want to play this season.
