The Milwaukee Bucks are likely to part ways with Mike Budenholzer as head coach unless the team reaches at least the Eastern Conference Finals, sources tell The Athletic.

Budenholzer has upwards of $7 million remaining on his contract over one season.

When the Bucks were convincing Giannis Antetokounmpo to sign his supermax extension while dissecting their own demise at the same time, sources say there was a great deal of frustration aimed at Budenholzer that hasn’t been forgotten.

Budenholzer has been more adaptable with some of his schemes this season.
