The NBA had eight of the top-25 highest-paid athletes in the world for 2020, headlined by LeBron James at No. 5 overall with a combined $101.8 million in salary and endorsements. 

James earned $31.8 million with the Los Angeles Lakers and an additional $70 million in endorsements.

Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry were also in the top-10 at $80.1 million and $74.5 million respectively.

Russell Westbrook (14th, $61.1 million), James Harden (16th, $51.1 million), Giannis Antetokounmpo (17th, $49.2 million), Klay Thompson (23rd, $43.3 million) and Kyrie Irving ($43.2 million) round out the top-25 NBA players. 

Overall, NBA players comprised 23 of the top-100 players on the list. The top-4 ahead of James was Connor McGregor, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Dak Prescott.
