The Oklahoma City Thunder claimed forward Mamadi Diakite off waivers. Diakite was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

Diakite started his rookie season in 2020-21 on a Two-Way contract. He was signed to a multi-year standard contract in late-April. Because the Thunder claimed Diakite, the Bucks have no cap hit on their books from the waiver.

Oklahoma City also waived wing Charlie Brown Jr. After a pair of 10 Day contracts, the Thunder signed Brown to a multi-year contract at the end of the 2020-21 season. Brown's deal was fully non-guaranteed, so Oklahoma City has no cap hit from the waiver.
