Dwight Howard was one of the more notable omissions from the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team. Howard has eight All-NBA selections, which is more than any other player left off the list.

Howard has as many All-NBA selections as Dave DeBusschere, Kevin McHale, Earl Monroe, Dennis Rodman, Nate Thurmond, Wes Unseld, Lenny Wilkens, and James Worthy combined.

The first half of Howard's career was one of the best for a big man in NBA history, with five straight All-NBA selections and three straight Defensive Player of the Year awards. Howard also finished second in MVP voting in 2011.
