After the Los Angeles Lakers latest loss, to the inter-city rival Clippers no less, Frank Vogel was asked if the team has considered bringing Russell Westbrook off the bench. While Vogel didn't directly answer that question, his response still spoke volume.

"We've talked about everything," Vogel said. When asked if it was something the team would consider in the future, Vogel repeated, "We've talked about everything."

Westbrook hasn't come off the bench since November 28, 2008, which was the 17th game of his rookie season.

This season, Westbrook has averaged 18.1 points per game, which is his lowest figure since his second season. He's also shot 43.3% overall, including 28.4% on three-pointers. It's been widely reported that Westbrook and Los Angeles will look to go their separate ways this offseason, but his $47 million salary for 22-23 remains a significant barrier.
