ESPN's Jimmy Pitaro: We Want To Extend Partnership With NBA

Jimmy Pitaro of ESPN went on record that the network is prioritizing continuing its broadcast partnership with the NBA, which is slated to expire after three more seasons.

Negotiations between ESPN and the NBA are expected to accelerate over the next two years.

“This is an important property for ESPN and ABC. We want to keep it going,” Pitaro said. “We want to extend with the league. I’ll put it out there without any hesitation.”

ESPN began its partnership with the NBA during the 02-03 season.
