A video released by TMZ on Friday of Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole allowed even those who were present for the incident to view it in a way that provided clarity.
"Multiple sources said their view of the situation is altered," wrote Marcus Thompson II at The Athletic.
"Seeing how much venom was behind the punch," wrote Thompson. "That wasn’t the Draymond they knew. That was different than a chin-checking jab they presumed, the kind of measured punch you’d give your little brother."
The Warriors have yet to announce a punishment for Green.
