Hawks Engaged With Suns On Jae Crowder Trade

The Atlanta Hawks have emerged as a potential trade suitor with the Phoenix Suns for Jae Crowder.

The Hawks and Suns have held discussions about Crowder over recent weeks. Crowder requested a trade this offseason after the Suns informed him he would likely lose his spot in the starting lineup.

Atlanta would like to add Crowder to their core of Trae Young, Dejounte Murray and John Collins. The Hawks could presumably have a closing lineup of Young, Murray, Collins, Crowder and DeAndre Hunter that allows them to play five-out basketball.
