The Los Angeles Lakers waived forward L.J. Figueroa. The Lakers signed guard Bryce Hamilton to bring their roster back up to 20 players.

Figueroa was signed to a non-guaranteed training camp contract. He'll likely play for the South Bay Lakers of the G League this season.

Hamilton went undrafted out of UCLA at the 2022 NBA Draft. As a senior, the 6-foot-4 guard averaged 21.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

The Lakers still have several players competing for roster spots. It's likely Los Angeles will leave their 15th spot open, both for flexibility reasons and due to luxury tax concerns.
