As part of the NBA's new collective bargaining agreement, teams will be allowed to begin contract negotiations with their own free agents one day after the conclusion of The Finals in June.
This will move up the timetable considerably than what is currently allowed.
The start of free agency for all teams is currently the early evening of June 30th.
