Indiana Pacers coach Isiah Thomas met with Webber's family, including aunt and attorney Charlene Johnson, Saturday in Detroit. Thomas said Webber was not present at the meeting. Thomas told the Sacramento Bee Monday night he believes that Webber will choose between the Pacers and the Kings. And Thomas says his first instinct is that Webber will opt for the Kings.

"My gut is telling me he's probably going to go back to (Sacramento)," Thomas said from Boston, where he is with Indiana's summer-league entry. "It's hard to read because he's doing it so differently. I think it's down between Indiana and Sacramento. But I honestly don't know if he knows. "I know he wants to win," Thomas said of Webber, "and I don't know if he believes he can win in Sacramento. But I still think at the end of the day, he's Sacramento's property to lose."
