PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) Portland Trail Blazers forward Qyntel Woods pleaded no contest Wednesday to marijuana charges stemming from a traffic stop last year.

Woods was cited March 29, when he was stopped for speeding. He reportedly offered only his basketball trading card and two credit cards as identification.

Woods initially pleaded innocent in April to possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, speeding, driving while uninsured and operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.

On Wednesday he entered a no contest plea to the marijuana charge through his attorney, Doug Stringer. He did not admit guilt.

Woods, who did not appear in court, was next scheduled to appear on Jan. 20, according to Multnomah County Circuit Court records. The charges could be dropped at that time.
