Good friends Tracy McGrady and Shaquille O'Neal have talked about playing together and have targeted Dallas as their choice destination, according to McGrady.

"We talk all the time about it," McGrady told Florida Today. "Me and the big fella are trying to get to Dallas together now."

Both players can opt out of their contracts after next season and may demand a trade this offseason.

According to team and league sources, the Mavericks would part with any player with the exception of Dirk Nowitzki in order to bring back O'Neal or McGrady.
