The Detroit Pistons rounded out their coaching staff -- again -- Tuesday by naming Ron Harper an assistant coach.

Harper joins Sidney Lowe, Don Zierden, Igor Kokoskov, Kevin Wilson, and Brendan O'Conner on Coach Flip Saunders' staff.

Harper played 15 years in the NBA, winning five championships, in Chicago and Los Angeles. His last ring came in 2000 with the Lakers. He spent the early years of his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers.

In the days following his hiring, Saunders' staff was advertised as being much smaller than the 7-man crew former Coach Larry Brown carried.

After originally being declared "complete" by Saunders and President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars following the appointment of Lowe and Zierden to join holdovers Kokoskov and O'Conner, the team has since added Wilson and now Harper.
