Toronto Raptors forward Chris Bosh was named the NBA's Eastern Conference player of the week on Monday.

Bosh led Toronto to a 2-1 record last week, averaging a conference-high 30.3 points. Bosh also shot an impressive .534 from the field and .853 from the free-throw line, and averaged 12.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

Bosh was his team's top scorer in all three games. He registered 33 points in a 117-112 win against Washington, 29 points in a 104-90 victory over New York and 29 points and 16 rebounds in a 115-133 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

This is the second time Bosh has won the honour, having earned the award for the week of Jan. 3-9, 2005.
