The Milwaukee Bucks? Michael Redd and the Denver Nuggets? Carmelo Anthony today were named the Eastern  and  Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Dec. 3.

Redd averaged 35.3  points on .541 shooting in leading the Bucks to a 2-1 week.  Third in the NBA in scoring (30.4 ppg), Redd shot .412 from three-point range last week and added 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.  His 45-point night at Staples Center on Nov. 28 helped the Bucks to win on the Lakers? home court for the first time since 2000.

Anthony led Denver to a 2-1 week, which included wins over Minnesota and Indiana.  Scoring 35 or better in all three contests last week, Anthony has now  scored  over 30 points in 12 of Denver?s 15 games this season. For the week, Anthony averaged 36.7 points along with 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists, while shooting .570 from the field and .500 from three-point range.
