Allen Iverson looked good in his Nuggets debut, tiptoeing along the baseline, darting through the lane and creating shots for himself and all his teammates.

Winning wasn't in the cards for The Answer or his new, depleted team on Friday night as Sacramento beat Denver 101-96. However, he got the fresh start he wanted and said the long, strange trip to becoming a member of the Nuggets was more than worth it.

"The loss, it hurt but you can't win them all," Iverson said. "I'm just happy right now with my situation. It couldn't be better. ... I felt like a newborn."
