The Portland Trail Blazers signed forward Jeremy Richardson to a 10-day contract from the NBA Development League?s Fort Worth Flyers, the team announced today. Richardson is the 14th Gatorade Call-Up of the 2006-07 NBA D-League Season. There have now been 82 total callups since the D-League began play in 2001-02.

The 6-7, 190-pound rookie signed two 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks on January 27 and February 6 of this season. He played five games with the Hawks, averaging 1.6 points and 3.8 minutes. In 19 games (18 starts) with the Flyers during the 2006-07 season, Richardson posted averages of 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists. He shot 45.0 percent (134-298) from the field and 36.8 percent (21-57) from three-point range.
