The Golden State Warriors are offering C.J. Watson a three-year, $4.5 million contract extension, multiple sources confirmed to RealGM's Alex Kennedy.

"I haven't decided if I'm going to take that or sign the qualifying offer," said Watson when asked for comment. "I still have to decide but that is the deal on the table."

Watson averaged 9.5 points and 2.7 assists last year with the Warriors.

If Watson takes the qualifying offer from Golden State, he will be paid just over $1M for the 09-10 season, but he would become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
