The Magic tried to get guard C.J. Watson in a sign-and-trade from the Warriors, but Golden State turned down an offer.

Orlando offered a package that included veteran point guard Anthony Johnson, a future first-round pick and cash, multiple sources told RealGM's Alex Kennedy.

Golden State general manager Larry Riley told the Oakland Tribune on Monday that the club had received "many offers" for Watson, a restricted free agent.

The Magic made the offer over the weekend, and the Warriors officially declined it on Monday.
