Certainly by now most of you are already familiar with my Floor Impact Counter and Reina Value. (Please click here to familiarize yourself with the systems.)

I also use the FIC to calculate team totals, both by game and for the season.

In order to determine my team rankings, I have calculated the difference between a team's own FIC per game and their opponents' FIC for the entire season.

Team: 09-10 FIC Differential

1. Boston Celtics: 22.0

Shelden Williams is frequently getting rotation minutes and he is easily having the best season of his career now that he is free of his previous lottery expectations.  He is fifth in the team in PER, ahead of both Ray Allen and Rasheed Wallace.

2. Los Angeles Lakers: 15.6

Even though the Lakers' schedule has been relatively unchallenging since Pau Gasol's return and they needed a miracle bank shot from Kobe Bryant to defeat Miami, they remain impressively undefeated with the Spaniard in the lineup.

3. Dallas Mavericks: 14.4

Dirk Nowitzki is second in the NBA in Win Shares with 4.3.

4. Orlando Magic: 12.7

The Magic only get 3.6 of their shots blocked per game while Dwight Howard's True Shooting Percentage has jumped from .600 to .653.

5. Cleveland Cavaliers: 12.7

LeBron James has increased his assist percentage from 38.0 to 42.6 this season, which puts him fourth in the NBA behind just Chris Paul, Steve Nash and Rajon Rondo.
