The Timberwolves have $7 million left in cap space after agreeing to deals with Darko Milicic and Nikola Pekovic, according to ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan.

That isn't likely enough to sign forward David Lee, but Minnesota still plans to meet with the free agent.

Minnesota's decision to go through with the meeting could mean that Al Jefferson, who has been mentioned in trade rumors, could very well be on his way out the door.

Dealing Jefferson could allow the Timberwolves to create the additional cap space needed to afford Lee.
