Indiana coach Tom Crean said he addressed Derek Elston’s tripping incident earlier this week.

Crean said Elston told him it was unintentional. After the two discussed the incident at length, it was decided that no punishment would be handed out.

"I didn’t get a good look at it during the game at all. I didn’t see it until it was on the film," Crean said. "I brought him up to the plane. He stayed with the same thing. He said to me that he didn’t do it intentionally. I know exactly what it looks like. I told him the same thing. When I looked at, it the referee had a good view of it. I didn’t argue it."

Elston appeared to intentionally stick his left leg into the path of a cutting Northwestern's Alex Marcotullio during the second half of Sunday's game.
