Carmelo Anthony has been traded to the Knicks.

New York will give up Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Timofey Mozgov, Anthony Randolph, Eddy Curry's expiring contract, their own first round pick in 2014, Golden State's second round picks in 2012 and 2013, and $3 million in cash.

The deal saves the Denver franchise a considerable amount of money in contracts and the luxury tax.

Randolph and Curry will go to Minnesota.

Going to the Knicks with Anthony will be Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman, along with Corey Brewer from Minnesota.

"He wanted to be in New York, and we worked with him and his people," a Nuggets team source said Monday night to NBA.com. "We worked it out. It's a win-win. You never get fair value for a player like that, but we have to move on as an organization. I don't think the fans have gotten the true Nuggets this season" with the constant distractions.
