Brandon Roy returned to the Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.

Roy had not played since Dec. 15 because of soreness in both knees. He underwent arthroscopic surgery on both on Jan. 17.

Portland coach Nate McMillan says Roy will initially be limited to 15 minutes per game off the bench and that he will not play in back-to-back games.

He had five points and one rebound in Portland's 106-101 loss to the Lakers.
