Kemba Walker scored 24 points, including the game-winner, to help Connecticut defeat Pittsburgh in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament.

Pitt entered the game as the No. 3 team in the country.

Walker, who was being guarded by the 6'10" Gary McGhee after Pitt was forced to switch after a screen, shook him to the ground with a crossover and step back before hitting a jumper near the top of the key as time expired.

Walker was aided by multiple big offensive rebounds from his frontcourt down the stretch, including one by Jamal Coombs-McDaniel on the final possession.
