Families of several Kentucky basketball players acknowledged Thursday decisions must be made about whether to play for UK next season or enter this year's NBA Draft.

"He's in the process of figuring that out," Tonya Knight said of her son, freshman point guard Brandon Knight. "He hasn't made a decision. Neither have we."

The same was true for fellow freshman Terrence Jones, his aunt, Ava Mashia, said.

"He's young," she said. "It's a big decision for him."

His aunt said Jones was seeking advice from friends and family, including cousin Damon Stoudamire, a former NBA player. "He can tell him what to expect," she said.

Calvin Lamb, the father of freshman Doron Lamb, said his son was leaning toward playing for UK again next season.

"I think he's coming back," said the elder Lamb, who added that he needed to speak with his son about the decision.

"I told him it would be good to have one more year (of college basketball) under his belt," Calvin Lamb said.
