The status of Keith Smart as head coach of the Warriors is expected to be resolved this week.

A team source said a decision is expected within the next two or three days, and another source "wouldn't be surprised if he's let go (Wednesday)."

Smart, when contacted Tuesday, said he hadn't heard anything from management.

Smart had only one guaranteed year on his contract and the team has an option for 11-12.
