Dakari Johnson has transfered to Montverde Academy, but will sit out the 11-12 season, headmaster Kasey Kesselring confirmed.

Johnson was the national freshman player of the year by ESPN Rise.

Johnson, 15, a 6-foot-10, 260-pound center, played last year for new Montverde coach Kevin Boyle at Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick.
