Wesley Matthews is interesting in exploring a deal overseas during the NBA lockout.

"I’m looking into different policies and products for insurance purposes to see how we can cover him if he does play in Europe,” said Young, who reps for Octagon.“If it looks like it’s going to be a long lockout, he’s going to play overseas.”

Matthews signed a five-year, $34 million contract with the Blazers last summer.

Matthews played through a torn tendon in his right ankle, playing 48 games, including the playoffs, with the injury.
