Len Simon is the antitrust attorney who is advising a group of players interested in moving forward with a de-certification process.

Simon has won settlements of $240 million and $1 billion, according to reporting from Liz Mullen.

Treble damages are available to the victorious party in an antitrust suit.  This means that the players, if successful in court, could seek an award from the NBA of three times their actual losses.
