The NBA has a self-imposed deadline of the end of Wednesday for the players to accept their offer.

If the players elect to decline their offer, the owners have promised to withdraw their proposal and will have a new, lesser offer.

One agent was asked what he expects to happen if there is no deal by the end of Wednesday.

"Doomsday," said the agent.

The players are expected to go through the decertification process if they don't accept the deal.
