Nate McMillan heard about a report Brandon Roy is considering a comeback fro reporters at Portland's practice on Tuesday.

"I haven't seen that, I haven't heard that," McMillan said. "But that would be surprising."

Crawford saw Roy in Seattle over the All-Star break, but the recently retired former All-Star didn't mention the possibility.

"I read it on HoopsHype like everybody else," Crawford said. "It caught me off guard, too."

Roy isn't eligible to return to the Blazers until his current contract, which the team used their amnesty clause on, expires in 2015.

Roy could sign with any other NBA team.

"I talked to him two days ago and he didn't say anything about coming back," Crawford said. "I mean he's kicked the idea around before. But he didn't say anything like it was for sure or anything."
