Quincy Miller has changed his mind and will declare for the NBA draft instead of returning to Baylor.

"On April 10, I kind of rushed my decision because I had a lot of pressure to make a decision," Miller said. "I let the decision get to me. Every ballplayer has dreamed of being an NBA player. I also wanted to finish this semester without the distraction, and I've done that.

"It's going to be disappointing to some fans. I apologize if I excited too many people, but I feel like this is the best move for me. I love Baylor so much. I love the campus. I love the university. I love everything about Baylor. But I think, for myself right now, this was best for me."

Miller, who was the co-Big 12 freshman of the year, is projected as a mid first round pick.
