The Sixers have elected to not pick up their option on the third-year contract of Craig Brackins.

By not picking up the third-year $1.5 million option, Brackins becomes an unrestricted free agent.

Brackins was acquired by Philadelphia in September of 2010 in a trade with the Hornets.

Brackins played sparingly for the Sixers as he preferred playing on the perimeter rather than the role of a more traditional power forward.
