Leo Lyons hopes to receive an NBA training camp invite after averaging 11.6 points and 4.4 rebounds over five games at the Orlando Summer League.

"Some good things are going to come from it," Lyons said. "Me and my agent have been taking a lot of calls. A lot of big teams have been calling and showing interest, so hopefully one of those goes through and we sign a deal pretty soon."

Lyons played for the Austin Toros last season, averaging 16.2 points and 8.9 rebounds in 26 games.

"The last year and a half, I felt like I was NBA-ready," Lyons said. "When you're in the D-League, it's a huge sacrifice as far as passing up on the money that overseas offers, but when they look at the list and they see that you're in the next city over or you're very close, typically guys from the D-League get called before a lot of the overseas guys."
