The New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony and the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant today were named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 2.

Anthony helped lead the Knicks to a 3-1 mark, averaging a league-best 29.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. Anthony scored over 30 points in two contests. In New York’s 106-99 home victory over the Phoenix Suns on Dec. 2, Anthony scored a game-high 34 points, and added six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.

Durant guided the Thunder to a 4-0 week on the strength of 25.0 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 2.5 bpg. He shot .607 (34-of-56) from the field, .462 (6-of-13) from beyond the arc, and .897 (26-of-29) from the charity stripe. Durant scored a season-high 37 points in the Thunder’s 120-98 win over the Houston Rockets on Nov. 28.
