Shelvin Mack of the Maine Red Claws was named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Dec. 3-9.

A 6-3, 215-pound guard out of Butler, Mack led the Red Claws to a 3-0 record for the week, averaging 22.3 points, 7.3 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 41.3 minutes. He scored a team-high 26 points on Saturday, Dec. 8 in a 116-114 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, returning the next night to dish out 10 assists in a 103-90 win over the Canton Charge on Dec. 9.

Originally selected in the second round (34th overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards, Mack played in 64 games for Washington last season and owns NBA career averages of 3.6 points, 2.0 assists, 1.4 rebounds and 12.2 minutes.
