James Harden will likely need to be voted into the All-Star game as a reserve, and that means he'll need the NBA coaches to select him.

Count Harden's former coach, Scott Brooks, in that category for now.

“James was really good for us,” Brooks said. “He's a terrific player. He's an All-Star player. He's definitely at that level, and he's going to be that way for many, many, many years. He still has improvement to make in his game and he's really good now."

Harden's competition will come from Russell Westbrook, a virtual lock to be voted in by coaches, Tony Parker and Stephen Curry.
